Welcome to GigTaker. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GigTaker mobile application and services. By accessing or using GigTaker, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

GigTaker is a peer-to-peer platform that connects users who need items delivered ("Senders") with independent individuals ("GigTakers") who perform delivery services.

GigTaker does not provide delivery services directly and is not a logistics carrier.

2. User Accounts

To use GigTaker, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. User Roles

a. Senders

Users who request delivery services.

b. GigTakers

Independent individuals who accept and complete delivery tasks.

GigTakers are not employees of GigTaker and operate as independent contractors.

4. Service Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Send prohibited or dangerous items
• Provide false or misleading information
• Harass or harm other users

GigTaker reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.

5. Payments

• Payments are processed through third-party payment providers
• GigTaker may charge service fees
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law

GigTaker is not responsible for disputes between users but may assist in resolution.

6. Delivery Disclaimer

GigTaker is a platform only and:

• Does not guarantee delivery times
• Is not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed items
• Does not insure packages unless explicitly stated

Users assume all risks associated with deliveries.

7. Prohibited Items

Users may not send:

• Illegal goods
• Hazardous materials
• Weapons or explosives
• Perishable or restricted items

GigTaker reserves the right to cancel any request involving prohibited items.

8. Communication

GigTaker may facilitate communication between users through:

• In-app messaging
• Notifications
• Third-party messaging services (e.g., SMS or WhatsApp)

You agree to receive service-related communications.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your activity poses a risk to other users or the platform

You may stop using the app at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigTaker shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of goods, profits, or data
• Actions of other users

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GigTaker harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from:
