We’re sorry to see you go. You can permanently delete your GigTaker account and request removal of associated personal data using either method below. Some information may be retained where we are legally required to keep it (for example, for fraud prevention or tax records).
Before you delete: Complete or cancel any active deliveries. After deletion, you may lose access to your history, ratings, and earnings records in the app.
Option 1: Email us
To request account deletion, email support@gigtaker.com with the subject line Account deletion request.
Please include the following so we can verify and process your request:
- The email address linked to your GigTaker account
- The phone number registered on your account
- Your in-app username (if applicable, e.g. @yourusername)
We will confirm receipt and may follow up if we need additional information. Processing typically takes a few business days once your identity is verified.
Option 2: Delete in the GigTaker app
You can start account deletion directly from the app:
- Open the GigTaker app and sign in.
- Go to your Profile (or account) section.
- Open Personal info (or equivalent profile settings).
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete account and follow the on-screen steps to confirm.
The app may ask you to confirm your identity or enter a verification code before your account is removed. If you don’t see these options, use Option 1 and we’ll help you complete the process.
